Launch of the More Profit per Drop website

Thank you for visiting the former MoreProfitPerDrop blog.  

The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry More Profit per Drop team has launched its own website which can be found at www.moreprofitperdrop.com.au.  Development of the website has been made possible through the support of the Queensland Government managed Healthy HeadWaters Water Use Efficiency project funded by the Australian Government as part of the Sustainable Rural Water Use and Infrastructure Program under the Water for the Future initiative.  The website has been designed with the assistance of local irrigators, suppliers and industry and it is anticipated that it will be a huge success and a ‘go to’ place for all things irrigation.

The site contains information on work being undertaken by the More Profit per Drop team, upcoming events and workshops, irrigation efficiency, crop specific information, soil and water management, detailed information on different irrigation systems as well as links to work and trials completed by other organisations.

 The site will be regularly updated with new information and we welcome listings of events from other organisations who wish to alert potential participants of their workshops and field days.

 It is possible to receive RSS feeds and also to sign up to the More Profit per Drop newsletters and blog through the website, if you don’t already receive these updates head to the website and put your email in the ‘stay informed’ box on the front page.
